Regional office North opens in Lübeck!
Green Wind Energy GmbH has opened its Northern Germany regional office in Lübeck. From here, project manager Pascal Peters will support repowering projects in the area between Flensburg, Bremerhaven, Rostock and Hannover. The Green Wind office will be the point of contact for colleagues in Aarhus (Denmark) and at the headquarters in Berlin, as well as for GW employees in the Hamburg region. Pascal Peters discusses other projects and goals:
Pascal, what specific projects are you working on at the moment from Lübeck?
In Lübeck, we are currently supervising eight repowering projects in northern Germany. One of these is Ramelsloh in the Harburg district.
Why Lübeck?
Lübeck is a beautiful city as well as a wind energy hub, a good place for project developers and anybody interested in renewable energy. We are in discussions with the applied sciences universities and have already invited student trainees and students. We also offer job opportunities for colleagues in the Hamburg region and a meeting point for all Green Wind teams from other areas, such as maintenance, operations management and offshore.
So the regional office is also intended as a meeting place?
Absolutely. Here we will come together with our colleagues in Denmark, as well as with customers or landowners. We are establishing a new Green Wind point of contact right at the heart of northern Germany, covering Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein. And Brandenburg is not far away either!
