Site securing


Fair and reliable!



The advanced technical development of highly modern wind turbines and their conserving method of construction and installation make many locations lucrative. Our site securing and planner colleagues identify sites, advise landowners, councils and citizens, conclude fair lease agreements and also know everything about building and clearance areas, cable lines and rights of way.

Diverse land uses

Various landforms are required for installing renewable energy systems, first and foremost of course the area for erecting the system, the size of which is regulated by law. There are also land requirements for cable lines and rights of way. Whether arable land, meadows or commercial forests – if you’d like to examine a possible land use for wind energy projects, we will be happy to advise.

Source of income for many

Landowners receive long-term, secure payments for every type of land use, whether as individuals or in owner associations. We work with you to find the most sensible lease model. Neighbouring municipalities are also fundamentally financially involved in the project and generate income through trade tax, which the operator must pay after the plant has been put into operation. We cooperate on the basis of Section 6 of the Renewable Energy Act which regulates the financial participation of local authorities. Citizen participation is also possible.

Repowering


Upgrade old into more!



The technological development of wind turbines is progressing rapidly – in terms of efficiency, environmental compatibility and the ability to utilise a wide variety of wind locations. In such situations, repowering has quick payback periods. We manage repowering processes in a forward-looking and targeted manner.

Extension of life

For many wind projects that were built more than ten years ago, repowering – i.e. replacing old, small turbines with new ones – is worthwhile. The term of an existing project can thus be extended by a further twenty years and efficiency increased three to fivefold.

Repowering fact check

At the beginning of the process – when all the facts are on the table – we calculate whether repowering is worthwhile. Only then should the operator make a decision. If required, we accompany the project from preliminary screening and approval procedure through to implementation, operation and technical and commercial management.

Approval processes


Win-win with wind!



After securing a site for wind turbines, we take over all planning and coordination processes with the municipality and regional planning authorities. We negotiate with institutions and investors, take care of authorisations, expert reports, construction, grid connection and the subsequent technical and commercial management and optimisation of the wind turbines.

Fair models and a single contact person

Our aim is to create a win-win situation for the benefit of all involved, and this includes fair (utilisation) contracts, sensible financing and leasing models, coordinated compensation projects as well as nature and species conservation measures. As a future operator of wind turbines, you have a single contact person who organises the processes in a transparent, open and targeted manner.

Until grid connection

Turnkey realisation includes plant selection as well as construction, commissioning and, last but not least, grid connection. After all, wind energy systems are power stations – they have to fulfil all requirements in terms of grid connection and integration into the supply mix. It is also part of our task to realise this in accordance with all legal regulations under the Renewable Energy Act, the requirements of the grid operators as well as the manufacturers and operators, and with regard to future grid concepts.
