Technical operations management
European portfolio
We specialise in the technical operations management of generation units from wind and photovoltaic renewables, transformer stations and storage systems. Our European portfolio comprises an output of around 750 MW and 360 plants from a wide range of manufacturers.
High quality standards Our internal quality and process management enables us to work in a standardised, highly professional manner. We annually review this high quality standard in internal and external audits.
We provide impetus for innovations in system operation, operational optimisation and the implementation of technical upgrades. The expertise of our employees enables us to assume responsibility as a system operator in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100.

Technical optimisation of wind turbines
Special field: rotor dynamics
Investing in professional, periodic balancing of the rotors of wind turbines over their entire service life saves many times the costs that would otherwise be incurred due to unbalance-related damage and loss of yield. Balancing thus significantly reduces the electricity generation costs and lifetime consumption of wind turbines, both onshore and offshore.
As specialists in engineering services for the technical optimisation of wind turbines, we focus on balancing, blade angle measurements, customised measurement campaigns as well as expert reports and consultation services. We get the very best out of the systems through root cause analysis, fault analyses, measurements, inspections and rectification of identified problems.

Blade angle
Using photogrammetry and vibration measurement, we identify blade angle deviations with an accuracy of 0.1°. In this way we ensure that your wind turbine can achieve the promised yield. In addition, harmful vibrations are reduced to maintain component service life.
Balancing
We can balance affected wind turbines with a high degree of accuracy as well as perform low-cost, suspicion-free inspections of entire wind parks to identify affected turbines in the wind park. After balancing, your wind turbine runs smoothly again. Harmful vibrations are reduced to a minimum so that components work durably and reliably.

Video-based measurements
We use video-based measurement methods to directly record various movements of a system, and we can carry out customised analyses: these check deflection and torsion of blades during operation, tower movements during setup and operation and, of course, the vibration level of the system.
Technical consulting
We perform root cause analysis for component- or entire structure failures with e.g. foundations, towers, machine supports, drive trains, hubs, rotor blades and adjustment mechanisms.
Expert reports
As independent experts we assess projects from the foundations to the rotor blades, covering all relevant issues.

We specialise in 24/7 monitoring of wind turbines, transformer stations, cable systems and offshore platforms.

In our independent service control centre, we monitor wind parka and photovoltaic systems around the clock. We can already remotely process a large number of fault and error messages without the need for an on-site service team. We liaise closely with your service and maintenance provider and arrange the necessary services on your behalf.
We coordinate all necessary registrations and deregistrations and also assume responsibility for the system if required. The documentation of all service measures and customised reporting to you or your technical operations manager are part of our service. This ensures optimum operation and makes sure of high system availability. Increasing system sizes/performance classes require the registration of necessary service deployments with the service providers, and the actual coordination and planning of these deployments by the service provider must be continuously traceable.
Thanks to our detailed error analyses and error statistics, we can quickly identify vulnerabilities and work closely with your service providers to develop specific measures for improvement.
The highest safety standards apply to greenwind control. All data is stored on servers in Germany. Regular data backups are carried out on locally separated and redundantly secured servers.
