Maria: “A performance I stand behind”
Maria Fahrland is the new HR manager at Green Wind. Maria has many years of experience as a sports and educational scientist in leadership positions in education as well as project and facility management. She will now be in charge of ensuring that new employees are searched for, found, and welcomed. And that all the colleagues on the team feel appreciated.
Maria, you decided to join Green Wind. What were your reasons?
I was looking for a job that has meaning. Jobs in Human Resources, which is personnel management in the broadest sense, can be found in any company. But I wanted to work for a company that offers a product or service that I can absolutely stand behind.
What made this an easy decision for you?
The telephone call with Sarah, Managing Director of Green Wind Management, which took place very shortly after I submitted by application. It was very casual and pleasant, but also informative, and it increased my curiosity about and anticipation of a personal interview.
What is your motivation/goal at Green Wind?
I want to work for and with my colleagues to make the here and now as well as the future pleasant and health-oriented and create a balance between the individual needs and requirements of the job – to create an optimum tomorrow for everyone.
What are you hoping for from your new employer?
I’m hoping that the values that are communicated to the outside are actually practiced and that we work together on an equal footing. I also want to keep developing in the area of HR and would like to go on this journey together with Green Wind.
