The nationwide approval process for onshore wind turbines “now urgently needs to get moving,” says BWE. “So far, only 117 wind turbines with 689 megawatts of capacity have been newly approved in the first three months of 2023.” However, there is talk of a necessary 10,000 megawatts in 2023. We are working tirelessly on this! To this end, our project development team and the site developer (photo) met in our new regional office in Lübeck to discuss strategies and new wind projects. Currently, eight North German repowering projects are managed from Lübeck. The Green Wind office in the beautiful city of Lübeck is a meeting point for colleagues from all over Northern Germany and Denmark as well as a contact point for customers, property owners and students interested in renewable energies.
