Siegesmund: TH2ECO plays central role
Anja Siegesmund, Thuringia’s Minister for the Environment, Energy and Nature Conservation (on the right), welcomed more than 130 guests from the business community, research and government to the first TH2ECO hydrogen event in Erfurt. She was particularly interested in the TH2ECO project partners, of which Green Wind Innovation is one, represented here (from left to right) by Melanie Graf and Kilian Fromm (Hydrogen), Natalie Klette (Photovoltaics) and GWInno managing director Manuel Lasse.
The minister assured that the state government was pushing for a rapid hydrogen ramp-up. The initial project in Thuringia will play a key role here. The state government is moving to accelerate onshore wind energy, she added, promising political support for speeding up approval processes.
