Measurements in Norway
The wind farms among the fjords in central Norway offered the crew from Green Wind Engineering a particularly attractive panorama. At an altitude of 100 meters, engineers Thomas Sargood and Alexander Donth took measurements from seven wind turbines and balanced the rotor blades of a reference turbine. They took blade angle and vibration measurements from the other six turbines. The results are currently being analyzed on the basis of the reference turbine and presented to the customer. Verifiable data are used to make decisions with pinpoint accuracy about the measures required to increase the efficiency of the turbines.
