Some of the participants in the “IQ Green” project are now in a better position to answer this question after the greenwind group’s technical operations management team joined them for a visit in the field and at a wind turbine in a greenwind wind farm in Brandenburg. The men and women who fled Ukraine learned all about various areas of wind farm operation and other renewable energy topics from greenwind experts Sandra Zanzig and Toni Koras.

IQ Green qualifies

Led by greenwind project team member Ralf Behnke, “IQ Green” qualifies immigrants to work in the area of renewable energies and sustainability. IQ project manager Nadine Fortak is delighted that this “gives our participants direct experience of how a wind farm is operated. The participants in our project then have the opportunity to decide for themselves whether they want to continue specializing in this area.”
