Turbine with 100 points!

For the first time in and on a newly constructed turbine: during initial inspection our Technical Operations Management team scrutinises around 100 points on a newly erected turbine in the wind park, taking photos and making notes. The operator is then handed over a freshly set up, flawless system.

From acoustics to accessibility
What our technical operations managers check is available in a smartphone app. From there, all relevant data is sent to our software which then generates a report. Both the interior and exterior, the foundation, the tower base, the platform, ladder and lift sections and the nacelle are carefully examined. Whether it’s a first aid kit or the oil level of the hydraulic system – we inspect everything from automatic lubrication systems, azimuth drives and rotor blade acoustics to the condition of the platform, SF6 gas status and access routes.

Technical availability – guaranteed
During initial inspections, greenwind colleagues from the Technical Operations Management division become precisely familiar with the new system which they will accompany across its operating life, because every wind park has its own individual aspects. Precise and detailed knowledge coupled with technical expertise and a continuous overview guarantee both technical availability and a long operational duration.
