Green Wind Acquires 16 Turbines in Denmark
Green Wind is continuing its successful cooperation with Danish investors: At the beginning of the year, Green Wind took over 16 existing Danish wind turbines from Danish cooperation partners. “In this way, we are continuously expanding our market presence in Denmark and confirming that we will continue to cooperate with Danish operators in the long term,” says Martin Kühl, Managing Director of Green Wind Energy. “In the future,” adds Flemming Reinholdt, CEO of Green Wind Denmark, “we will start investigating further expansion of renewables around existing plants.” The deal involves 16 wind turbines of various types located throughout Denmark. Responsibility for operational management lies with local service providers. For this expanded portfolio – with Danish financing – the Green Wind Group will in the future throw all its expertise into the balance: From project development to commercial and operational management, from technical upgrades and sensible sector coupling to full service. All for the German and Danish wind market!
