greenwind’s cooperation with windpower-concept GmbH (WPC) is bearing fruit. Thanks to practical and theoretical training from the experts at Green Wind Engineering, WPC can now implement two measurement methods directly into wind farms: blade angle measurements and video-based rotor imbalance tests. They are suitable as suspicion-independent tests because no additional travelling is required.

• Client checks – greenwind evaluates

After structural rotor blade repairs, especially in the blade tip area, such as those carried out by WPC, testing is recommended both for quality control and to ensure that the rotor runs smoothly again after the repair.

Following the inspection at the wind farm, the greenwind experts evaluate the measurement data and draw up recommendations for optimisation in terms of yield and vibrations. The aim is to optimise turbine operation without any loss of yield.

• Ideal for large-scale repairs
