35.4 MW Approved in Baden-Württemberg and Brandenburg!
First, second, and…! greenwind is currently receiving permits for five wind turbines totaling 35.4 MW. This includes the first permit in Baden-Württemberg. In the municipality of Freudenstadt, two N163.7 MW turbines can now be erected as part of the Baiersbronn project, following the regional plan’s entry into force on July 1, 2026. Congratulations to project manager Marie-Luise Mörk and her team, especially project developer Sebastian Olbrich, who, according to Marie, “played a key role both personally and professionally.”
And another first: the approval for the Weesow-Schönfeld wind farm in the municipality of Werneuchen (Brandenburg). Three Vestas V172 turbines, each with a capacity of 7.2 MW, are planned. This is the first permit that greenwind employee Valeria Lemke has secured and, as such, also her first project that she developed entirely on her own from the very beginning.
Valeria was supported by Marie, among others. “Marie guided me through many tricky situations!” Securing the land is essential here as well. “Many thanks also to Bernd Müller, who successfully secured the land and got the agricultural support contracts as well as the mowing suspension agreements for the red kite off the ground!”
Marie and Valeria particularly highlight the support of the entire team, especially their boss Franziska Göbel, whose “inexhaustible knowledge” has contributed significantly to the success of these projects.
