Municipal Heat Planning

• We support municipalities and cities in developing their municipal heat planning. By recording the current status, considering local heat potentials, and closely involving various stakeholders, we create your heat transition strategy with individual measures and recommendations for action. During the project phases, we create a digital twin using modern software, enabling participatory involvement and ensuring the long-term continuation of municipal heat planning.

Feasibility Studies according to BEW

• We assist you in applying for BEW funding and prepare feasibility studies based on your municipal heat plan or project ideas. After thorough data collection and potential analysis, we model different network routes and heating plants to identify the most economically viable option. This is done in coordination with you, major consumers, and key stakeholders. We consider both conventional and low-temperature networks and help you determine the most suitable operator structure.

Energy-Oriented Urban Renewal / District Concepts according to KfW 432

• The newly launched KfW 432 funding program offers municipalities an attractive opportunity to further develop districts. It includes the expansion of renewable energy, climate adaptation, the use of digital technologies, expansion of green infrastructure, and improving energy efficiency in municipal buildings. Energy-oriented urban renewal is an effective instrument to concretize the results of municipal heat planning and climate protection concepts at the district level. We support you in the technical development and ensure a careful balancing of different interests.

Project Development of Renewable Heat Supply

GHG Accounting

• We prepare greenhouse gas (GHG) accounts for various sectors such as electricity, heat, and transport. To determine CO₂ equivalents, we use well-established standards such as the municipal accounting system (BISKO). The accounts are suitable for reporting as well as for monitoring purposes. We employ transparent, modern methods, assist in setting up your own monitoring system, and advise on the use of appropriate software.
