Green Wind Innovation in the Oberhavel H₂ Network

Green Wind Innovation and other stakeholders of the three northwestern administrative districts in Brandenburg have now joined forces to form the hydrogen network PROOH2V. It will be officially launched on August 19 at the “Hydrogen Day” event at Energieinsel GmbH in Oberkrämer.

All members of the network have a shared understanding that the energy and transport transition can work only with the use of renewable energy, and hydrogen is essential to storing this energy. Together with the administrative districts of Prignitz, Ostprignitz-Ruppin, and Oberhavel, PROOH2V is advancing the creation of a hydrogen economy in the region, and giving stakeholders in business, science, politics, and administration a platform for dialog regarding opportunities and technologies and finding solutions for current objectives.

Regional economic development

At the “Hydrogen Day” event, the founding members will learn about the potential of technologies such as fuel cells, electrolysis, and power-to-gas as well as the associated benefits for the environment and regional economic development.

Invitation to take part

The East Energy Group, Green Wind Innovation, REG Regionalentwicklungsgesellschaft Nordwestbrandenburg mbH, Sprint Tank GmbH, and the Northwest Brandenburg sites of Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences will be there to introduce themselves and invite others to join in. Further stakeholders from Prignitz, Ostprignitz-Ruppin, and Oberhavel have already pledged to take part.
