Our approved wind turbine at the planned Ramelsloh Hybrid Park has received a contract award from the German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur), thereby securing a state-guaranteed minimum remuneration for the electricity to be generated in the future.

The turbine in the municipality of Seevetal, Lower Saxony, must now be constructed within the next 30 months. The entire repowering project consists of two wind turbines, a solar park with 13 MWp of installed capacity, and a battery energy storage system (BESS) with 9.6 MW in a 3-hour system (the electricity can be stored for up to three hours).

The solar park is currently in the permitting process, as is the battery storage system. The second wind turbine will be submitted for approval shortly.

greenwind’s first hybrid park will be able to supply 18,910 households with green electricity (based on an average household consumption of 2,434 kWh per year according to BDEW). Completion of all project components is expected in 2028.

Four existing MD77 turbines from 2001, with a height of 62 m, will be dismantled. The project is located approximately 25 kilometres from Hamburg, between the A7 motorway and the railway line.

Pascal Peters, Project Developer and Head of the greenwind Northern Germany office, is responsible for the project development of the wind turbine. Overall coordination of the Hybrid Park is the responsibility of our Project Developer Melanie Graf. She emphasizes:
